Musical Mind Map

A mind map is a visual thinking tool that has many advantages compared to traditional note-taking and writing techniques.

Mind maps are graphical representations of information that convey the relationship between individual ideas and concepts.

mind maps use images and keywords to create new associations in your brain or the learner's brain, which you can also transcribe with incredible speed.

Once you discover the power of creating mind maps (as a teacher), you’ll be amazed at how much faster the students will memorize the concept...

So After teaching:

independently in my music class,

I grouped the whole thing in one nice mind map for teachers to use and students to benefit from…

So feel free to download this music education mind map and leave a comment if it does magic to your class as it did to mine.

And after I showed my student this mind map

I asked them to redraw the map in a different way if they can

and the results are  amazing๐Ÿ‘ here are some examples of their artworks:

u can always check these free sites and make your own mind map:

MindMaster    XMind    FreeMind    SimpleMind     MindManager

 Ayoa         SmartDraw    Coggle      Lucidchart

Very nice tool to use in music class (it saves time...)

Do you want to engage your music students with fun and interactive presentations,

visualizing their opinions in real-time.

Mentimeter enables you to turn ur class into an interactive brainstorming, poll puller,

multiple-choice, and many more.

This is the site Mentimeter.com that u should visit.

Prepare the "menti"
        Get the code
Send it to the students ....

They will go to menti.com enter the code and voila

Get fast feedback live from ur students within minutes,

U can thank me later ….

( I tried the word cloud to brainstorm music vocabulary
Scales for choosing the composition they like to play this year
And ranking for finding out what they like most in my class......)

Between teaching music, following my undergraduate Master degree in Educational Technology, making music, spending time with my lovely wife ๐Ÿ‘ฉ and two kids ๐Ÿ‘ฆ ๐Ÿ‘งand blogging about ideas for this music blog, life keeps me busy...

but I love every minute!

And they say: the l๐Ÿงกve of music is contagious ….
